Fogless Shower Mirror Troubleshooter

Thank you for purchasing a Mirrorvana Fogless Shower Mirror!

Please watch the video below in case you’re having problems or difficulties with installing the mirror or the mirror’s fogless feature.

If you’re still having difficulties with the product after watching the video, please read the FAQ below or email us directly at support@mirrorvana.com for assistance.

1. My mirror is fogging up, please help!

Please make sure you’ve filled the reservoir with warm water before or during each shower. When the reservoir is filled with warm water, heat will be transferred onto the mirror surface which will allow the mirror to remain fog free. As long as the water inside is sufficiently warm (as warm or warmer than what you shower with), fog will not accumulate on the mirror surface.

Remember to rotate and empty the mirror after you’re done so as to not cause unnecessary strain on the suction.

And in case there’s still any confusion, you must refill the reservoir with warm water every time you shower because the mirror will revert to being a normal mirror once the water inside has reverted back to normal room temperature.

2. How do I get the suction mechanism to work?

Mirrorvana mirrors utilize an advanced suction mechanism that is far superior to most suction cup designs on the market today.

To lock the mirror in place, first locate a dry, clean, flat and non-porous surface and press the suction cup against it. Next, make sure the suction mechanism starts in the unlocked position by twisting it all the way to the left (counter-clockwise). Finally, twist the suction mechanism all the way to the right (clockwise) to lock it in place. Please refer to the manual included with your purchase for illustrations.

3. What surfaces does the suction mechanism work on?

The mirror suctions best to dry, clean, and non-textured flat surfaces like windows or glass mirrors. Other non-porous surfaces like granite tiles or marbles usually work flawlessly as well.

4. My mirror keeps falling off, what should I do?

You may have trouble getting the mirror to lock properly against uneven surfaces like painted walls, textured bathroom tiles and wallpaper BUT we ask kindly that you confirm whether the suction mechanism is in fact working properly by testing it against a window or another glass mirror surface. If the mirror suctions properly to other flat surfaces but not to your desired seemingly flat spot/wall/tile, please contact us for a full refund.
